Autograph album, 1856-1870, of Samuel D. McPherson recording signatures of his professors at Jefferson College and fellow classmates in the graduating class of 1856. The album additionally includes numerous signatures of family members and friends, frequently including the signer's address, college, graduation year, and notes recording the individual's subsequent activities. Signatures of some professors are accompanied by clipped wood engraved thumbnail portraits.
